K' Road - world famous in New Zealand. Once one of Auckland's red light districts, now alive with restaurants, cafes, boutiques, art galleries and night clubs. The road is home to many heritage buildings such as the Baptist Tabernacle, Mercury Theatre, Symonds Street Cemetery and Grafton Bridge.
The night life is well known and many interesting characters can be observed as it is the centre for much of Auckland's bohemian scene. Nearby is Western Park home to distinctive sculptures. On the way to K'Road, stop on the Hopetoun Bridge and get great night views of the city and "spaghetti junction".
Join Adam Baines on Friday night as he guides us through secret nooks and crannies of K'Road and surrounds, be amazed at the hidden world that you never knew existed. Not to be missed! (Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes).
